THE CHALLENGE
Explored what happens when you design a
new-to-the world DTC paper towel brand

The Brief: Over the past decade in retail has seen a monumental shift — one in which the shopping experience is more tailored to what is convenient and easy for the consumer, rather than the retailer. The DTC (Direct-to-Consumer) model was the driving force behind this shift. It has taken hold in categories like skin- care, makeup, and fashion and it is estimated that nearly 14% of total retail sales will come from e-commerce channels this year. With the onset the COVID-19 pandemic, personal care, cleaning and hygiene are top of mind for consumers now more than ever. The paper product category has seen unparalleled demand that only continues to grow.

Emphasizing simplicity, the client asked for a pastel
but fun design for this product, only focusing on the essentials

The target audience of this project is the “Household Hero” which is a younger mother who needs a budget conscious product

INTITIAL SKETCH
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

D-TO-C WEBSITE
After the product itself was designed, I created the desktop and mobile versions of the website the customers would use to order the product.
